Back to School
Lucy jumped up and down in anticipation of the bus ride to her first day of Kindergarten this morning. She is a bright light igniting us all with her sparks. I don't know if I'm ready to share her with the world, but one thing is for certain...Lucy's READY and excited to conquer the world one glue stick at a time.

new puppy
Max finally convinced us that he NEEDED a dog. We picked out a Miniature Golden Retriever from a ranch in Montana. He flew here on an airplane and our whole family crowded around as the cargo guy from Alaska Airlines handed us a little crate full of the cutest, white fluffy thing we had ever seen. The kids named him Fiver, after their favorite character in "Watership Down". He is a lot of trouble, but worth every second of it. We all adore him. Just look at that face. :)

December
Our family made some big strides in December...starting with Maximilian running a marathon. Max joined a marathon club at school, where he was able to rack up miles during recess and finished his final mile to complete a 26.2 mile marathon at the high school track under the lights.
wow! a real medal!!
Lucy's found her stride in art at Kids Caboose preschool. She comes home with her arms full of wonderful creations...or even outfits complete with a song and dance. Can you guess the song for this outfit? "One little, two little, three little Indians..."

I don't know
Harvey came up with a new game. He sticks a pillow under his shirt and well...the rest of the gang followed suit. I hope this boy does not have a sumo career in his future.
